Little Canada is a vast, highly detailed and animated journey through Canada in miniature.  This permanent attraction opened in summer 2021 in the heart of downtown Toronto, in a 50,000 square foot facility. Our goal is to be a top 10 attraction in Toronto, with anticipated attendance of over 500,000/year.

Job Overview


The Social Media Coordinator is responsible for all areas of Little Canada’s social media communications to ensure inclusiveness of all aspects of the Little Canada brand and its values. The Social Media Coordinator will work closely with the Communications Leader on all areas of social media programming and communication, social media strategy decelopment and execution, marketing deliverables, and communication with internal and external teams and stakeholders in a timely manner.


Key Responsibilities

Social Media

·       Develop original and engaging content for Little Canada

·       Develop new unique ways to engage guest (quizzes, contests etc.)

·       Create and maintain a strong online presence for Little Canada

·       Collaborate with Marketing team to develop appealing social media campaigns that align with Little Canada’s brand image and values

·       Discover and stay up-to-date with ongoing trends and developments

·       Understand Little Canada’s specific audience personas on social media and develop strategic plans that appeal to them

·       Develop a consistent posting schedule taking into consideration optimal time for web traffic and guest activity

·       Maintain our social media calendar

·       Connect and create relationships with influencers that align with Little Canada’s brand image and values


Social Media Monitoring & Tracking

·       Understand KPIs for Little Canada and define them specifically for our respective social media outlets

·       Track performance of overall social media and specific campaigns

·       Track engagement and implement SEO to optimize campaigns

·       Monitor all social media activity


Communications & Marketing

·       Create a variety of different content for Little Courier that will be engaging to guest

·       Assist in outreach to press outlets, influencers, and magazines and maintain consistent communication

·       Assist in Marketing campaigns and ongoing initiatives

Business Profile Management

·       Maintain a consistent presence on all our respective business profiles/apps

·       Respond to guest inquires and reviews in a timely manner

·       Update information in a timely manner as needed



  • Respond to and follow up on partner requirements

  • Regular administrative tasks and other duties as assigned

Qualifications and Experience

  • 1-3 years of work experience
  • University, college or equivalent work experience in marketing/hospitality/attractions/
  • Strong work ethic with exceptional customer service and creative mind
  • Excellent knowledge of all social media platforms
  • Excellent networking and relationship building skills
  • Excellent communication and time management skills
  • Ability to multitask

Working Conditions

  • Office work may require long periods of sitting
  • Walking, standing and interacting with guests and staff will be required during operating hours
  • Occasional weekend work may be required to ensure coverage during business periods
